No wonder you haven’t posted much lately on the family blog…you have no time! Isn’t it fun to be able to do what you enjoy doing after retirement? Looks like you’re having a blast (as I am with kids and flowers and a little traveling)!
Speaking of traveling, when will we see you again? Any thoughts of a trip to Chicago? Shannon is coming out for the 4th of July. Why don’t you come out too? Gary and Kenny and families are all welcome too. We need another family reunion…it’s been way too long! I think it was Gary or Ronnie’s wedding since we were all together (who was married last?). Think about it guys, we need a get-together!
Yup it’s fun – keeps me mentally sharp too.
I’ve got a couple of other projects I’m working on too. I’ve got a week before the Spikes actually start their baseball season and I hope to have one of my efforts rolled out before then.
I’m glad you enjoy the traveling. I don’t know exactly why (maybe because I traveled a fair amount for work) but I have absolutely no desire to travel any more – it’s just become too much of a hassle. Quite frankly, I sometimes view heading to the other side of town as a hassle. 🙂
So does that mean no visit to Chicago any time soon??? Do we have to have a family reunion in State College? That may be hard to pull off!
Not anytime soon. I’m reserving my travel for special occasions.
At first glance it seems Larry is suggesting that a family reunion is not a special occasion. Not the case at all, tho. The qualifier is the word “soon”. Larry knows that there will be no reunion soon. A reunion needs to be scheduled well in advance.
BTW, I’m giving some thought to taking a family vacation to Utah next April. Anybody else?
