Guess Gary wants me to explain. I gave Charlotte and Lex a certificate for a butterfly pavilion…you get the larvae and watch them “grow” to a beautiful butterfly. So, is the picture on the left truly the “arrival” or are the kids just getting started?
Yes, plus I’ve been swamped, both at work and home. (Readying attic bedroom for Charlotte while they’re on vacation.)
Picture is not “arrival”, but these are of “release”.
Funny thing is, we got 1 shipment of 2 sets of larvae (4 per set). Assumed the company combined shipments (Lex’s and Char’s). Days before releasing our brood, we get another pair of larvae sets.
Wait a minute! You already did it? How long did it take? Were you able to see the complete metamorphosis? Did any die? Are you doing the next set now? Were they pretty butterflies or more like moths? Did you not receive two pavilions? Did the kids think it was neat? Tell me more!
